It was a cold game and my fingers were telling me so. My two pinkies were yellow. It was too weird!
Then on Friday Sayre had the first injection in her back. We had a 1:30 appointment. Brad left work to be there. The doctor's office did not send the orders so they asked us to come back at 4:15. We got there and didn't have to wait long. They took Sayre back and did the CT scan. Then she had to wait for the doctor to get there. It seemed like forever. He finally got there, but had two sets of orders. One said just the left side. One said both sides. He asked me what I wanted to do. I couldn't decide. Fortunately Judy came back down the hall and I was able to tell him to do both. Poor Sayre. She had to lay on the CT scanner this whole time. He went in and told her. Judy went in for the first three attempts (there were a total of four) and I was there for the last. It was hard. Sayre cried the whole time. She was so scared, and they told her not to move. She came through it ok. She was muscle-sore for the first two days, but the pain in her back is already back. We know it takes more than one to work completely. She only has two more to endure.
Sunday saw me grocery shopping and scrapbooking. The Cardinals were in the Super Bowl so I had to scrapbook. I had to be in the house alone. I had to eat leftover El Palacio alone. I had to scream and scare Molly. I did all that, but unfortunately the Cardinals lost in the last minute. It was a great game. No one can say they didn't deserve to be there. They came so close. That's ok. They still made it when no one thought they would.
