More pages

I seem to be obsessed with digital scrapbooking lately. I haven't touched paper in weeks. My stuff misses me. The good thing is I don't have to have a clean desk to scrapbook on my computer. I can even do it in the living room with the rest of the family. I am really loving Now We're Rockin' at jessicasprague.com. I'm not all the way there yet, but I'm making progress and trying to get more creative.

This week was busy again. Brian had his golf banquet on Wednesday. He earned his varsity letter. Sayre hates him because he did it his freshman year and she only earned hers last year (her junior year). I even celebrated my birthday on Thursday with dinner and homework (Brian's). It wasn't glamorous, but it was real. I finished my ATI testing on Friday. Thank God! I am so tired of saying the same thing nine million times a day (no, that is not an exaggeration). The second graders had all but 12 of their 90 questions read to them, and I did almost all of it. Friday afternoon was spent at a rainy, cloudy soccer game. OK, so I wasn't there when it was raining, but it rained at the beginning. The boys got quite wet, but played well. My weekend was spent cleaning, shopping (not the good kind though), doing laundry, and trying to catch up on my digital scrapbooking projects. I really want to do some other creative type of thing. I think I may play with some new stamps later. If so I will share later.

Well, I've been quite busy in the last week. My school is doing some online testing and I'm in charge of administering those tests. Fun, fun, fun. I've also been busy working on more digital scrapbook pages. Those are getting fun. Here are some examples:

OK, so the picture of the two kids is a little crazy with Brian's face. He must have been scared.

On to other great news. I have become a great Cardinals fan. The Arizona Cardinals won the NFC championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles and are headed to the Super Bowl for the first time. It was very exciting. I watched last weekend in the scrapcave working on my digital pages. I did the same this weekend. If you know me, you know I'm slightly superstitious so I was alone in the scrapcave again. I had leftover El Palacio for my meal (just like last weekend, I guess you know what I'll be eating during the Super Bowl). Brian and I texted each other (same as last weekend). I only had the dog and cats to talk to. Super Bowl weekend will be quiet for me (except for my hoots and hollers). But seriously, what a game! It was quite exciting that a team from my home state is going to play in the championship game. Go Cardinals!

Another day, another dollar

We got good news last week. I have been saving for the kids' college for many years. I was so worried that with the downturn in the stock market my savings would be shot. Well when the statements came, we still had money! Yippee! I was so happy. I called my mom and my mother-in-law and giggled. It was so exciting! I think we may actually be able to afford college (next year, no less).

I have also been working on the next lesson in my online digital scrapbooking class. I completed two more layouts. It is a shame that regular paper holds no draw for me right now. Plus, I have no time for that. I'm really getting into this digital scrapbooking stuff. Here are the results:

Happy New Year

I hope everyone has had a great New Year's Day. Mine was spent walking the dog, going for a run, and using one of my Christmas presents. Brad got me an online class on how to scrapbook using Photoshop Elements and I started learning today. I am proud to say that I have completed two layouts. It was only slightly confusing with a few repeats of the video segments, but I did it and think my efforts aren't too bad. See for yourself.
